My first week

I was hoping that last week's first weigh-in reflected water retention, but I was wrong. I worked my ass off this week. And I lost 2 lbs. I only had one bad day (too much alcohol). I also worked out 6/7 days. So, I'm happy for the 2 lb. loss, and hoping it'll be another two by next week.

I used that metabolism website link, and calculated my resting and maintenance levels of calories, that was a surprise!! (I'm only allowed 1650ish to maintain... no wonder.) Then I did as it suggested, staying between my resting level and my maintenance level.... apparently it worked, since I lost the two pounds. So, I recommend that to all. I kept a diary of all the food I ate, and read labels. I've done diets before so, I know calories of food pretty well from memory, or at least a close estimation. Try it!
MARK ME DOWN AT 160.

nice job boom boom. Really proud of you, and a little jealous. After my first brutal PT day there was no way i could exercise more than every other day at best. Sarah and I did not keep our commitment to do Plyos and went to Batman instead. OOOOPS.

I moved some furniture around the house this weekend for exercise. Oh, I also watched Batman and drank a big Sapporro too. I plan to buy a bike helmet today/tomorrow so I can resume riding.

p.s., I played one game of bocce on Friday. Do you actually burn extra calories from this sort of "sport"?

Yeah man, I'm determined. I've had this extra 15 pounds for about 3 years now, and I'm sick of it. I love hot cheetos... when i was in colombia my after school snack was coke and cheetos with my roomie. I do think that alcohol really affects my weight though. So hard to give it up in the summer... well, ever.
